When Neil Tobin got in touch to say Grantham College had a team that was competing in F1 in Schools Challenge for the very time and wanted his team to look professional in fully personalised polo shirts, we knew we could help.
For the College Team to take part in the event Neil was looking for support from several sponsors, with all of the Company logos to be displayed on the Team Polo Shirts in a way that really showcased their brands and give the Team a look and sense of a true F1 Team in their Clothing.

In this instance we offered several polo shirt options, with the best option being a Poly/Cotton material from the brand Kustom Kit. The polo shirt had contrast purple panels and white piping to match their branding colours. As you can see some of the team members are clearly delighted to be taking part in such a great event, but they are also keen to show off their quality looking personalised Polo Shirts

To give a classy look to the polo shirts, we were supplied with a whole array of company logos, some of which were low clarity.
It was decided because there were so many logos with quite a lot of detail in some of them, it would be best to produce these logos as DTF Printing. The DTF allows the logos to give a smooth clear finish for that professional look.
Our process is to reproduce these logos into vector images to give a high resolution to the finish of the printed logos. These logos were produced using our DTF (Direct to Film), DTF printing is a great process that works well where there are lots of colours involved.
The logos are then laid out in a fashion to replicate the F1 style look with logos to front, both sleeves and a large display of main sponsor logos on the back.
The Stem F1 logo was to the front of the polo shirt with individual personalisation of each person’s name clearly displayed on the front left chest and their roles in the team displayed on the opposite side of the chest.
The outcome of the regional heat of the F1 Schools competition took place on Thursday, January 16 and we are pleased to confirm the Grantham College Team are successfully through to compete in the UK National Champions behind held in March.
We wish the Grantham College Team the best of luck for the finals this next. Needless to say the Team will be wearing their Fully Customised Polo Shirts with an update design that includes some new sponsors.
